It's the right cartridge for my HP Envy 4050 and has a big brother in the XL category, but the low $20 price is nice.

I have been buying this ink for years and have never had a problem. Based upon my occasional printing use it lasts a few months. Obviously it will vary depending on how many pages are printed but I think this cartridge is probably on par with other major name brands.

While it is often tempting to buy cheaper off brand ink, you never know what quality you will end up with Using branded ink refills/cartridges pretty much guarantees smooth printing & printer operation every time I have never regretted it.

I recently purchased and HP61 Black Cartridge for my HP Envy Printer, The HP61 Cartridges seem to last longer than the HP564 cartridges used on my previous printer. While all ink cartridges seem overpriced for the quantity of ink purchased, it helps when the cartridges seem to last longer.

I could not say anything bad about this ink cartridge. It lasts for a long time. I use my printer only a few times a week for regular printing and I don't have to replace the cartridge for months. I just recently got the XL size one, curious to find out how long that one lasts.

Always best to go with the original HP ink, best quality ever!

I don't do a lot of printing, so this cartridge suits my needs. I've never had any difficulty installing and/or using it and my prints come out sharp. I do not print photos - only use the black/white cartridge (no color).

HP is cheapest ink and it seems fine. I print very little and mostly b&w so have had no problems.

I bought this HP #61 Standard Capacity Black Ink Cartridge for my printer. I have never had any problems using this ink cartridge. It does the job it's supposed to do!

HP is a excellent product for ink. Best Buy has kept the prices competitive with others. My ink of choice and Best Buy my store of choice for all my computer and printer needs.

haven't used it yet but it's always good for our printer. Wish the price was a little less. Hope HP continues this product

Works great in my HP printer. The value packs are a good deal, since I go thru more black ink than color.

I bought the HP ink cartridge over a generic brand as they are the best quality and I never have any printing issues with them. Sometimes the generic brands or refilled cartridges cause printing problems and create more headaches than the few dollars of savings they generate. Go with HP.

I'm in a band and as the singer, I'm in charge of printing the setlist every week. I did try the "XL" or "longer lasting" or whatever it was called HP Ink, but I didn't really notice that much more longevity. This will do just fine. I only print like 6 pages a week, but I only need to replace the cartridge about once every 4 months or so. You might do the math and think that's bad, but it's an ink cartridge and I'm only using it every 7 days. All ink dries up quicker the less you actually use the cartridge. If I cared, I could probably run a page mid-week, but that's a waste of paper and effort so I don't. I'm fine replacing it 3 times a year for my purposes and this is a much better value than the "XL" or "extended" ones which don't really seem to deliver on longevity.
