If it appears that poor performance is due to a defect or you got a cartridge that was already low on ink, please contact the seller.
According to the Best Buy website: "If you receive a product that is damaged in shipping, defective or that is not the product you ordered, please return it during your return and exchange time period to Best Buy and we'll arrange for a replacement. I'm sorry that the cartridge did not last as long as you thought. The page yield is approximate and based on industry-standard ISO testing.
Actual number of pages depends on many factors, high-density photos and the like use ink more quickly and lots of black is used on just about every print job.
If you feel there was something wrong with a cartridge, you can always contact the seller to see about a replacement.
