    HP cartridges are great, easy to use. But they are so expensive and if the price does not start to go down I will consider using refills for black ink.

    HP ink is great. I have had some problems with it lasting for the number of printed pages it claims. I don't use my printer all that often, but the ink sure doesn't last very long. Maybe it is drying up.
