Posted .Hi,
I am sorry that the cartridges aren't lasting long for you. That sounds irritating.
Things that might help you to save money on ink:
- Make use of the printer's draft mode whenever possible
- Shut the printer down between uses. That can save ink and electricity
- Always use the power button on the printer itself to turn it off. That gives it time to ‘park’ so that the cartridges are protected from excessive drying

Posted .Hello Shel,
Recent changes in cartridges might be attributed to various factors. The first change is that temperatures are increasing this time of year. If you kept the cartridge on the shelf for a bit, the cartridge might be dry or clogged. If so, running the printer maintenance option is a good start. Too expensive
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.HP inks are way too expensive. HP printers are coded to reject generic inks and refilled ink.

difficult experience
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The store didn't have the ink. I was told to order online. I ordered black and colored ink. The black was sent to my home abut the color was sent to the store. The store is quite far frommy home. The printer does not work unless both cartridges are installed. I had to wait another week for the ink

Posted .Hi,
I am sorry that the one cartridge was sent to the wrong place. That seems disappointing all right.
However, normally the printers that use just two cartridges can print with only one cartridge installed. That allows you to finish your print job, if you need to. The printout won't be the same, tricolor cartridges can't print black, so you'll get a dark brown instead, while black cartridges will print colored sections in gray.
Also, with only one cartridge installed, you'll get an error message, but that can be ignored.

Same Old! Same Old!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As with all ink cartridges. Not enough ink in them for what they cost.

Posted .Hi,
It can be frustrating to not have cartridges last long. I can understand if you are disappointed.
How a cartridge will perform in your particular printer, is affected by several variables, including the surrounding environment and the density of the prints. High-density prints (such as greeting cards, posters, images and graphs) will run a cartridge out faster, especially if the paper is highly absorbent and the air is dry.
Some things that might result in ink savings:
- A lot of black is used in almost every printout. The printer's draft mode can stretch out both black and colored ink
- Using the black-only setting will save on colored ink usage.
- Turn off the printer between uses; however, always use the printer's power button to shut it off. That gives it time to ‘park’ in a way that protects the cartridges from drying and clogging up.
- Think about enrolling in Instant Ink. Subscription plans allow you to pay by the page. Check out the details at: instantink.com
If it appears that poor performance is due to a defect or you were sent a cartridge already low on ink, please contact the seller. According to the Best Buy website: "If you receive a product that is damaged in shipping, defective or that is not the product you ordered, please return it during your return and exchange time period to Best Buy and we'll arrange for a replacement. If you would rather return the item by mail during your return and exchange time period, please call us for special instructions at 1-888-BEST BUY (1-888-237-8289)."
