Too expensive
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This "XL" version is too expensive (specially compared to what the Printer costs); ink cartridges in general should be very cheap!

Posted .Hello,
I’m really sorry to know that your cartridge’s yield was not as much as you had expected. Please, let me help you to understand what happened exactly and also how to improve the number of pages available to print.
Please, considers these tips to improve the yield of your cartridge:
- High density prints (such as photos, for example) usually use more ink than low-density prints (such as text, for example), especially if the type of paper absorbs more or if the environment is particularly dry.
- Using the “draft mode” option when printing can help save ink.
- Turn off the printer at intervals when it is not being used, it helps prevent the cartridges from drying out.
-You could consider accessing the Instant Ink service, which sends you new cartridges when you need them, with flexible monthly plans for your needs. You can find our official Instant Ink site by searching the web using the keywords “HP Instant Ink.”

Posted .Hello,
I am very sorry that you had this problem. It has to be annoying to get a cartridge that is low on ink when you were expecting a good cartridge!
When you receive a cartridge that is not acceptable, I would advise you to contact the seller about an exchange or refund.

disappointed
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.after printing a few documents, my printer (envy 4500) suddenly decided that the cartridge was incompatible and i haven’t been able to get it to work since. it’s an older printer but it’s listed on the package as compatible, so not sure what happened there. disappointing that i spent nearly $50 for this and got maybe 20 pages.

Posted .Hello,
If you started printing and then received an error message, the cartridge has nothing wrong with it. The problem is that the printer isn't recognizing the cartridge. If you recently updated the firmware, it caused the error message. Remove the update, and your cartridge should be recognized. If you experience more troubles, contact www.support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp/.

Problem Cartridge
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a great difficulty printing since I put in this cartridge. The quality is horrible it does not print everything. I have contacted the company HP about this matter and waiting to have the problem rectified. I checked and it is not expired but they must be difficulty with the cartridge itself. I'm considering returning it to the store and exchanging it for a different one.

Posted .Hello,
I am very sorry that you had a disappointing experience. That sounds frustrating.
You are correct. Ultimately the seller is responsible for the quality of the product they sold to you. If it seems that the cartridge was defective from the start (a manufacturing flaw perhaps), then, and only then, going to HP for a warranty replacement (if it is before the date the warranty ends) would be appropriate.
Otherwise you can contact Customer Care at 1-888-BEST-BUY (1-888-237-8289).

Not the best
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This type of ink cartridge does not last long enough. My previous printer used a 15 cartridge for a ream of paper. This size barely prints less than a hundred.

Best ink for HP printers
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.HP ink works best in HP printers because the printer recognizes it and keeps track of the quantity. However, it is very expensive!

Just Bad
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This ink is a waste of money, If you don't use it right away it just dries up. I have a brand new cartridge and it's like an old one that you have to shake up to get enough ink to print one page. Just a waste. I'll will stick with buying the regular cartridges from now on.

Ridiculous
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not the fault of Best Buy, HP is INSANE !!! Doesn't matter how inexpensive their printers are, or what features they offer. You'll go broke buying ink. Shame on HP. I'm looking for another printer. I'll protest via pocketbook. I will never purchase ANYTHING made by HP again.

Why is ink so expensive?
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I can buy a printer for $50.00 but the replacement ink for it is about the same price, this makes absolutely no sense to me. And having to buy the ink every six months is getting a little expensive. I'm really ready for this whole monopoly on printer ink to be over!!!
