    The XL runs nearly twice the price as the "regular" replacement cartridge, but definitely lasts more than twice as long. Definitely worth the price difference.

    I have tried other brands as far as cheaper cartridges or off brands and had nothing but grief. This is the printer brand that I have so to go with the same brand cartridge just makes sense. All of the readings are true as far as if the unit is starting to run low or something with the printer may not be working properly. Overall, just a lot less nonsense using these compared to a few other brands.

    We use a lot of ink. The salesman said this size cartridge has 2.5 more than the regular size cartridge. In ratio to the cost, this was a great deal.

    I bought this at a good price, I was using the regular HP61 ink cartridge and this time I bought the HP61XL. It does last much longer and is worth the extra money.

    I decided to go with XL over normal since it gave me good impressions and stopping the alerts that ink was too low level too soon. I had tried in the past with refilled cartridges from a local vendor but at end of day its cost went up to same or even double since i had to use various refilled cartridges against on single XL. I do highly recommend original ones, plus the quality is better when printing detailed color pages. Printing is mostly focus to get high school homework done from my daughters. I am ok with the prodcut and i will continue to keep using original ones.

    The 61XL cartridge gives more pages up to 2.5X more pages than the 61 cartridge. It cost a few dollars more but the value is worth it.
