I have used other inks in other printers and ended up throwing them and the printers away because it messed up the print heads so bad. Don`t use substitutes.

Than the small ones. I feel like it last about a month with working and doing school from home. Reason for 3 stars, it’s expensive. I feel like the ink cost more than my printer.

As usual I am very pleased with the HP black in cartridge. Also it you are a member of the Best Buy rewards program there is a discount for HP ink cartridges.

61XL Tri-Color cartridge yield 330 pages whereas the regular 61 Tri-Color cartridge yields 165 copies. For a few dollars more the value is worth the cost.

The product is great but I had to go to two stores to get it. The Port Washington Rd. store was out so I made a special trip to the Mayfair Rd. store.

The line of printers uses the same cartridges. My second printer at school and the printer at home all use the same ink. Never seem to run out of spare cartridges.
