    Don't know why ink cartridges are so expensive but that is not exclusive to HP . that being said, I like the XL size at least I don't have to replace them as often. Colors are vivid and pictures come out pretty good.

    If you need ink get the XL so it can last you longer than the standard which is terrible and only last for about 50pages

    Ink cartridges are great. The printer however does not work with Windows 8 computers at Wake Forest University in Winston Salem NC.

    The 61XL seems good so far. Used a 61 (non XL) and it ran out of ink pretty quick. Expensive but that is an HP issue, not Best Buy.

    Got this for home printer my wife likes printing out pictures of her art. She likes REALLY saturated images and this lets her print them. She likes the color representation and I like that we don't run out of ink too quickly.
