I like that if the black or color cartridge runs out of ink, I only have to replace the empty one.

HP Ink works best for HP Printers

I did not know about the ink program, so much a month and they know when you need ink and send it to you. So, when I bought my printer, I bought extra ink. I don't regret it. I can still opt into the program and I have plenty of ink.
