    The printing of these cartridges is great using the HP ENVY 7640 but the only problem is, the ink seems to run out to quickly. "Didn't I just buy ink?" Why is ink so expensive anyway? Is there gold dust in it?

    I find that this ink doesn’t last long. I had the 62xl which lasted about 3-4 months This 62 didn’t last me three weeks. I feel there’s less ink in it. I experienced this before. For the money it should last longer.

      Hello,

      The XL cartridges do provide more ink. Still, both of those time frames are short. I want to recognize we missed your wishes for the product.

      Here are some ways to get more pages:
      - Always turn off the printer if you can, protecting the cartridges from drying.
      - Change your settings by using the black ink only setting.
      -Avoid printing complex designs or text-heavy pages. The same goes for photo paper or specialty paper.
