    Good enough for someone printing things once a week but not for a family of 5 printing at least 2 pages daily. Almost out of ink and its only been 2 weeks.

      Hello there Jason,

      As a family, you probably have greater printing needs. The XL cartridges are a great idea. I recommend the whole family employs print preview. Print preview helps review layouts and catch typos, preventing reprints. If you leave the printer idle for a few days, you should shut the printer off. At this time of year, it is cold. Many households run the heat, increasing the chances the cartridge dries out.
