The only reason I have this four instead of five stars is that if you don't use your printer every day out at least weekly, these tend to dry out very quickly and then you have to rush out and spend more money so you can print.

I owned an Epson printer and ink not only was expensive but it used various ink cartridges. I decided to buy Hp and I love it and the ink is not expensive

HP ink cartridges never disappoint. I like the fact that you can now buy XL cartridges that last longer and require less trips to the store.

This ink meets the need for the old Hewlett-Packard Officejet 5740 printer for which it was made.

Easy to install. The XL option is more cost effective but still on high cost side. Fortunately, I don't do a lot of printing. So, I will keep on going but with XL

My daughter needed ink for her college printer. Went to Best Buy as we believed they would have it in stock.

Lasts adequate for my needs for home use. Wouldn't recommend for office use as you'd run out of ink quicker.

Quality print cartridges from OEM! Dependable and fairly priced! BB had them in stock at best price also!

hp ink is best for my printer not any generic ink cartridges, always use hp for hp printers

Works great. Went in to purchase the XL pack but they were all sold out, so I ended up buying two of these.

This ink cartridge kept giving me a notice that it was not compatible with the printer. It was the same HP black ink that I used before. I finally had to remove the color cartridge in order for the black one to work.
