This cartridge was good for about 30 copies and then it runs out. For the last three months or more, I've been buying one black and one colored cartridge and after 30-35 copies, the ink is gone. I'm super disappointed. I am done with this expense. The cartridges used to last much longer.

      Hi there,

I'm sorry to hear that the cartridges did not print as many pages as you expected.

How the cartridge will perform for you is determined by environmental conditions surrounding the printer and your own usage. High-density prints (like images and graphs) use more ink, especially if the air is warm and dry.

Here are some things that could help lower your ink usage:
      - Set the printer to draft mode whenever possible
      - Shut the printer down between uses
      - Always use the power button on the printer itself to turn it off. That gives it time to ‘park’ so that the cartridges are protected from excessive drying

    HP-62 Color ink cartridge FAIL

I don't print often and this stopped working with less than two prints. I ran the clean function multiple times, which slowly improved it, but it appears that it won't ever work correctly after the first two pages. I HATE spending this much on ink, especially when it doesn't last more than two pages.

      Hi,

I am sorry to find that you had this problem, but I might have some advice to help.

It is likely that the cartridge gets clogged and not letting the ink through the tiny inkjets. When there are clogs the cleaning routine might need to be run more than once to clean out the clogs completely.

If you only print occasionally, it is a good idea to shut the printer down between uses. However, it is important to always use the power button on the printer itself to turn it off. That gives it time to ‘park’ so that the cartridge is protected from excessive drying which leads to clogging

The seller is responsible for the quality of what is sent. Contact the seller when a cartridge is not satisfactory.

Everything HP is trash. Its just the best of all the poor options for printing. How do the cartridges cost as much as the printers. Its cheaper to buy a new printer than replace the cartridges.

The ink cartridge is flat out expensive and they need to find a way to make these cartridges cheaper. We did buy the HP printer. The ink is overpriced!

What can I say. This is the compatible HP ink cartridge for my HP Envy printer. Print quality is based more on the quality of the printer than the cartridge. Works fine in my printer.

They also would not exchange the ink since HP doesn't put an expiration date on the ink and I would have to contact them. I contacted the HP sales representatives in the store and they are useless.

      Hi,

I regret that the cartridge seemed to run out too quickly. That had to be disappointing.

Generally, ink usage determines how long each individual cartridge lasts. High-density prints (like images and graphs) will use more ink, especially if the paper is highly absorbent and the surrounding air is dry.

If the poor performance appears to be due to a defective cartridge, please consider returning it to the seller.
