    My printer requires this ink so I really didn't have much of a choice. I have tried generic ink cartridges in previous printers and really wouldn't recommend that. HP makes a good product and if you need the ink I would recommend it from a local store. Best Buy had a decent price so I was lucky when the time came.

    hp ink for hp ink jet printers is the way to go. just wish someone would solve the "dries out too soon" issue when colors are used infrequently. installs easily, works fine, just need to figure out how to "cap" the colors so the cartridges have more longevity.
