    I've never, ever, had a problem with a HP ink cartridge, and that's worth a premium, but, nevertheless, I consider them unnecessarily expensive; in part, I suspect, to push you into the "Instant Ink" program. When I can, I use Best Buy rewards to purchase HP cartridges and watch Amazon for occasional price reductions.

    original HP cartridge still works best, precise printing and it last a long time for me, the XL version that is. Wish it was a bit cheaper, so I am always looking for HP or Best Buy deals !

    It’s great. But I did notice that it ran out more quickly when I used it on thicker paper. I guess the paper just absorbes more ink.

    The previous cartridge was defective left lines throughout each page. Did printer cleansing 3 times. Realigned. Returned to Best Buy for an immediate replacement which works wonderfully.

    Very good quality but just doesn’t last as long as one would like replaced printer with a tank printer. Sacrificed on quality I had on inkjet printer but happy with the amount of printing jobs I can do without having to refill the ink anywhere close to as before.
