    Have hesitated in the past in buying the XL black ink cartridge but so glad I did. It certainly is worth the purchase price as it truly lasts a very long time. It is a better deal than buying the original size cartridge!

    This ink performs very well; it seems achieve a true, rich black efficiently. Once it's on paper it's quite permanent, or at least waterproof (it doesn't weep or run.) I wish I could find color ink as reliable.

    Have been using the HP XL ink for a long time. Recently purchases a new printer and it's also an HP model. The quality of the ink is always consistent and XL really does last much longer. Won't buy anything else.

    I use the black ink a lot in grayscale and black and white printing. It works very well and the print is easy to read on the paper. The ink does not bleed on the paper.
