    The product might be 5 stars, but I can't tell because I purchased this online on June 16, 2023 to pickup at the store. I wanted to install it into my printer on July 12, 2023 and noticed that the expiration on the box was July 2023. Unfortunately, the return date has passed.

    As with other ink cartridges, these things are very expensive. The benefit of "up to" 3x the ink at 2X the price remains to be seen. When I buy the 2 pack with color and bw, I always run out of bw, so this may result in less trips to buy ink?

    After using only one-forth to one-third of the cartridge, the printer no longer recognized the ink and I ended up having to throw it way. Might as well purchase the non-XL ink cartridges at a cheaper cost in case this one stops being read by your printer.

    I got a defective ink cartridge and Best Buy will not replace it because item was open. Yes you do have to open it and put it in the printer to find out it is defective. Apparently, they can sell defective products with no responsibility. The family and I are done with Best Buy. They informed me this info was on their refund policy page somewhere. Too bad it was not on the page where you order the item. You have to find out the hard way. Ordered the same thing next day from Amazon and it worked great.

    I recently used my Geek Squad membership for a technical issue with my laptop. The result was the Operating System went down after a technical assistant took over my computer remotely. I could not reconnect or get anyone in customer service due to long wait times. I took my computer to a local company for the repair. I will never use Geek Squad or buy from Best Buy again. Horrible customer service; would not respond to emails.
