    This is more of a bad customer service review at Best Buy. The HP - 62XL High-Yield Ink Cartridge - Black didn't work and a Best Buy employee would not give me a refund because I had opened the package. Obviously I had to open the box and installed the cartridge to realize it was a bad one. The manager of the store finally agreed replaced the cartridge.

      Hello,

      I am sorry to hear that you were sent a cartridge that ran out quickly. If you weren't printing high-density print jobs, there was probably something wrong with the cartridge.

      High-density prints will use up a cartridge rapidly, especially if the paper is highly absorbent and the environment is dry. Also, a lot of black is used in just about every page printed.

      Using the draft and black only settings on your printer helps with savings on ink. Also, shutting the printer down between uses can help. However, you always have to use the power button on the printer itself to turn it off. That will let the printer 'park' itself so that the cartridges are protected from excess drying.

      If you think the poor performance was due to something wrong with the cartridge, you can contact the seller to see about a refund or exchange.

    This is the first time I experience this type if problem with the HP back ink cartridge. The printer did not recognize the black ink cartridge. Now it works with only the color cartridge and is in "single cartridge" mode.

    After about 1/3 of the ink for this 62 XL cartridge had been used, the printer told me it had failed. I cleaned the cartridge, with no effect. The regular 62 cartridge that came with the printer was inoperative from the start, which is why I bought another cartridge. Is this a problem with the cartridges, or the printer?

    Since I had to open the package and installed. I cannot return this XL62 ink cartridge. Gives me an error code of no ink cartridge installed. Best buy said I have to call HP. Never had an issue with any other cartridge. I think Best Buy should replace and deal with HP or at least verify my issue-
