    Very disappointed this time around. The black n Tri color barely lasted long at all and hardly printed anything. For the price it might e been cheaper to buy a new printer

    Almost out of ink so I stopped into Best Buy for more. Once I found the right aisle it was easy to find what I needed.

    The black ink cartridge in this double pack was either old or defective. Couldn't get it to work in the printer. The color cartridge was fine, worked as it should. I called HP Support & he walked me thru processes to fix it. It wouldn't work, he told me I had to buy a new black ink cartridge. I did, & the Best Buy guy told me once the ink package is opened, I couldn't return it. So, I purchased a new XL black ink cartridge.

    Black cartridge smeared over print jobs. Ruined printing tickets for a game. I expect better from HP. Best Buy exchanged the cartridge but quite a hassle dealing with the faulty product when I needed it.

    These cartridges are always available in the store for the printer/copier that I use them for. But why are cartridges of these nature so expensive? They cost about as much as I paid for the printer/copier.

    HP sure has it all figured out as to how to get every penny out of consumers on their products. You can't live ( print ) without the cartridge, so do you really have any choice???

    It often enforce us to do the alignment print, and ink used up before less than 50 prints instead of 190 pages per their spec. HP is so cheap and should be sued for cheating customers

      I am sorry that the cartridges did not last long for you. That has to have been frustrating.

      The page yield estimates are based on the industry standard ISO testing, but the true page yield depends on many factors.

      It is hard to say how long before a cartridge will need to be replaced. If it is not damaged or defective, the ink usage will determine how long it will last. High-density prints will use up a cartridge rapidly.

      Alignment pages don't use up too much ink and aligning the new cartridges often greatly improves the print quality.
