      Hello Alvin,

Your feelings are understandable. Still, I think I can guide you to better results. To start, strategize each print. This limits the possibility of reprinting the same documents. Some materials use more ink, like specialty paper. The type of print matters, as images use more ink than regular text. Sometimes, turning your printer off helps save ink.

      Hello there Margaret,

It’s a shame about the dried-up cartridge. Have you tried cleaning it? Still, reading the return policy is important. See www.bestbuy.com/site/help-topics/return-exchange-policy/ for more information. I suggest checking the cartridges when they arrive in the future.

The only reason I rate this so low is because of how expensive these Cartriges are. The quality of HP isn’t the best.

      Hi there,

I am sorry to find that the cartridge wasn't very good. I can understand if you are disappointed.

Since it appears that the product was defective when you got it, you can look into returning or exchanging it. Information about that can be found at:

      Hi,

I am sorry that the cartridges don't seem a good deal. The estimates of pages printed are based on standards set for the industry. How a cartridge will perform in your own printer will vary according to several variables, including the surrounding environment.

Ink usage usually determines how long a cartridge lasts (unless it was defective). High-density prints (such as images and graphs) will run the cartridge out faster.

Here are some things that might help you get savings:
      - Most people have found that the XL version of the cartridges are a much better value.
      - Make use of the printer's draft mode whenever possible, to help stretch out black, and colored ink
      - Using the black-only setting, when appropriate, will save on colored ink usage.
      - Shut the printer down between uses; however, always use the power button on the printer itself to turn it off. That gives it time to ‘park’ so that the cartridges are protected from excessive drying.
      - Consider getting Instant Ink. The subscription plans let you pay by the page. Check out the details at: instantink.com

      Hello Bree,

I see you ran out of ink quickly. I apologize for what happened to you. There are a few ideas that can help in the future. An XL cartridge is larger than a regular cartridge. Consider purchasing one. Printing in black ink prevents replacing the color cartridges, saving money. You can try to decrease the print quality settings, which will stretch the ink further.

I believe the printer is the problem. Ink run out quickly and you must have all the inks to print.

      Hi,

I am very sorry that you had this experience. You can use just one cartridge to print although the printouts will not be the same. A color cartridge cannot produce a true black and will run out quickly due to all the ink needed to approximate black. Just using black will mean the colored areas will be gray.

Here are some things that might help you stretch out your ink:
      - Consider using XL cartridges. Most people say they are a much better value
      - Make use of the printer's draft mode whenever possible
      - Using the black-only setting will save on colored ink usage.
      - Shut the printer down between uses
      - Always use the power button on the printer itself to turn it off. That gives it time to ‘park’ so that the cartridges are protected from excessive drying
      - Subscribe to Instant Ink, then you only pay by the page, not for the cartridges themselves

If the poor performance appears to be due to a defective cartridge, please consider returning it to the seller.

The ink cartridges that I purchased for the HP wireless printer have been lasting for less and less sheets over the last several purchase, and this is not the only printer/printer brand, that I have noticed having this issue. It seems that as the age of the printer increases the replacement filters holding less and less ink, as proven by the fewer and lighter copies that are provideed by these new cartridges.
