PRINTER CARTRIDGE
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.never get enough copies out of the cartridges which are overpriced

Posted .Hi,
I'm sorry that you were disappointed with the page yield.
It is difficult to say how long before a cartridge will need to be replaced. Provided that it is not damaged or defective, usage will determine how long it will last. High-density prints will use up a cartridge rapidly, especially if the paper is highly absorbent and the environment is dry. Also black is used more than any of the colors.
I can certainly understand wanting to find more affordable options for your printing! Toward that end, you might be interested in trying Instant Ink, if your printer can be enrolled. Details about the pay-by-the page plans can be found here: instantink.hpconnected.com

Posted .Hi,
I'm sorry that you weren't pleased with the ink yield. There are some things you can do to make it last longer.
You can print in draft mode and perhaps use the grayscale setting on your printer. Since a little ink is used when the printer clears the nozzles during maintenance routines, turning the printer off when it is not in use can help save ink,
It is important to always use the power button on the printer itself to turn it off. That way, it will 'park' the cartridges where they can protect the printhead from drying out and clogging.

Is it counterfeit?
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve never bought ink from Best Buy & don’t think I will again. The HP app notified me a few days ago that this was a counterfeit cartridge & today it was out of ink after about 3 weeks (we don’t print a lot, so it shouldn’t be)

Posted .Hi,
I'm sorry that you are using so much ink. High-density prints will use up a cartridge rapidly, especially if the paper is highly absorbent and the environment is dry. Black is used a lot in almost every single print job.
Using the draft and black only settings on your printer helps save ink. Also, shutting the printer down between uses can help. However, you always have to use the power button on the printer itself to turn it off. That will let the printer 'park' itself so that the cartridges are protected from excess drying.

Posted .Hi Lastminute, sorry to hear you are experiencing an issue with HP 63 Black Ink Cartridge. If you suspect you have received a non-original cartridge, please contact the seller. To resolve the issue, you can try cleaning the electrical contacts as shown in Step 3 http://hp.care/2qsfLG1. If this doesn’t resolve the error please contact the seller for a replacement. Otherwise, contact HP Support for a replacement http://hp.care/2nbNQFi Note most printers in this product range can operate in single cartridge mode (i.e.: remove the black and operate with just the tricolor cartridge)

Posted .Hello Didi,
I hear you are routinely running out of ink. If many cartridges are dry, it could be the environment the printer is located in an unsuitable environment.
Is the room hot or dry? What about humidity? These factors influence the amount of ink a consumer gets from the cartridge. Turning off the printer ensures that the cartridges are protected. Follow these tips, and I think you will see different results.

||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Im so sorry I bought an inkjet printer because it was cheap. These cartridges only print about 45 pages. Once I save up I will buy a LaserJet print cartridges cost the same but print about 1,000 pages.

Posted .Hi,
My apologies for this happening to you. I can understand if you are disappointed when the cartridges seem to run out too quickly.
Unless a cartridge is faulty, ink usage determines how long it lasts. High-density prints (such as images and graphs) will use more ink, especially if the paper is highly absorbent and the surrounding air is dry.
Here are some things that might help lower your ink usage:
- Consider using XL cartridges. Most people say they are a much better value
- Set the printer to draft mode whenever possible
- Shut the printer down between uses
- Always use the printer's power button to turn it off. That gives it time to ‘park’ so that the cartridges are protected from excessive drying
- Subscribe to Instant Ink, then you only pay by the page and not for the cartridges themselves
If the poor performance appears to be due to a defective cartridge, please consider returning it to the seller.

Poor Ink Life
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very poor ink quality and ink life. I’ve already had to replace it. I realize Best Buy does not make printer ink cartridges, but they should last longer than a few weeks.
