I got the HP XL color ink cartridge as a companion to go with the HP XL black ink cartridge I bought. The high yield cartridges seem to be a better value than the regular cartridges if you a doing a good amount of printing. If you are only printing occasionally then opt for the regular size. Both size cartridges are full of genuine Hewlett-Packard ink and are very colorful and easy to load.

I bought my HP OfficeJet 5255 in Sep 2019. Since then I've bought 26 HP-63XL High-Yield Ink Cartridges in Black and 8 HP-63XL High-Yield Ink Cartridges in Tri-Color. I don't do much color printing, but when I have, the quality is great. I like printing recipes with color pictures of the finished product. The Great-Grandkids will sometimes color a page from a book. I want to keep it, but they want to take it home. I make a colored copy for them and keep the original. We're both happy. HP ink cartridges have always provided me with quality prints, whether black or in color.

This cartridge is very easy to install and I love that it has a higher yield so that you are not spending a lot of time changing cartridges. Very competitively priced.
