    If your like me you go through ink like crazy, which can be expensive. You get a small discount by getting this xl one instead of a few separate cartridges and it's nice not having to change as often.

    The road to ink cartridge replacement is rife with rough rides and sticker shock. That said. I have gone the Mad Max route and am trying out XL class cartridges. Installation was a snap, print quality has been excellent, What remains to be seen is whether cartridges deliver on the claim of 2 1/2 times more printed pages, which is the whole point of the upgrade. Fingers crossed -- but must admit that, depending on results, I'm considering HP's Easy Ink Plan, which may be the true path to savings over the long haul.
