Tax on the smart
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overpriced pieces of plastic and ink that dry out after a month of not printing. Sometimes they aren’t even detected in the printer. Couldn’t return them in-store because the item was opened and the employee was skeptical about the open item.

Posted .Hi Diamond,
I hear your viewpoint. Your dismay is valid, but there are a few ways to change your experience. If the cartridges do not register on the printer, take them out. Reinsert them and the printer may recognize them. As for drying out, there are two ways to fix it. Turn off your printer every time you are not printing. It protects the cartridge, which prevents drying. I would encourage the use of print preview or draft mode to save on the ink. Unfortunately, I cannot do anything about the employee rejecting the return. Best of luck!

Ink cartridges
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Because you won't exchange it for the replacement when I bought this for a 63 instead of the 6XL I bought back because it wasn't working in my printer. Even through it was the right ink cartridge for my printer. Which they take my money and keep it that I got from getting what my tablet was worth. Which to me is that they stole money from me from getting what my tablet was worth at the time of this purchase.

Wrong cartridge!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When shopping for this printer I was asked if I wanted high volume ink cartridges, and I clicked ok. This was the one I was directed to, and I bough5 it. When setting up my printer, I installed both the black and color cartridges as directed. They both fit. Upon testing, I got the error message that the color cartridge was wrong for my printer. Now I’m stuck with a very expensive cartridge that I cannot use. I am unhappy because I feel I was misdirected in my purchase.

Posted .Hi Jill,
I am sorry to hear that you didn't have a good experience with the cartridges you were sent. I can understand if you are disappointed!
It is possible that the color cartridge is defective, so the printer is not recognizing that it is the correct type for it. You can return it.
According to the Best Buy website: "If you receive a product that is damaged in shipping, defective or that is not the product you ordered, please return it during your return and exchange time period to Best Buy and we'll arrange for a replacement. If you would rather return the item by mail during your return and exchange time period, please call us for special instructions at 1-888-BEST BUY (1-888-237-8289)."

ink

Posted .Hello Kenn,
I cannot change the product's price, but I can help with the marks on the paper. It sounds like you are experiencing streaking. Streaking is resolved by cleaning the print rollers. Open the printer and carefully wipe off the rollers. After that step is complete, do a sample print to see if the issue is fixed. If not, contact us at www.support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp/.

Great refill
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I couldn't be more pleased with the HP 63XL High-Yield Ink Cartridge in Tri-Color. As someone who prints frequently, finding a reliable and long-lasting ink cartridge is essential, and this product delivers on all fronts. Exceptional Print Quality: The colors are vibrant and true-to-life, making my documents and photos look professional and crisp. Whether I'm printing colorful charts, photos, or school projects, the results are consistently impressive. High Yield: The XL capacity is a game-changer. It lasts significantly longer than standard cartridges, meaning fewer interruptions and more efficient use of my time. I've noticed a substantial increase in the number of pages I can print, which makes this cartridge an excellent value for the price. Easy to Install: Installing the cartridge was a breeze. The instructions were clear, and it fit perfectly into my HP printer without any issues. I was up and running in no time. Reliable and Consistent: I've had zero problems with streaks, smudges, or misprints. The ink flow is consistent from the first page to the last, maintaining high quality throughout the cartridge's life. Environmentally Friendly: I appreciate that HP offers a recycling program for used cartridges. It's great to know that I'm not only getting top-notch performance but also contributing to a more sustainable environment. Overall, the HP 63XL High-Yield Ink Cartridge is an excellent investment for anyone looking for superior print quality, high page yield, and hassle-free installation. I highly recommend this product and will definitely be purchasing it again. Five stars all the way!

Print cartridges
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very low inventory on print cartridges in store and very expensive.
No, I would not recommend this to a friendBrand response from HP Team
Posted .Hi Karla,
I hear you want to access more excellent inventory. I can help you find more cartridges online. The Best Buy site has many options to pick up or ship cartridges beyond the in-store inventory. As for the expense of the cartridges, the best counteractions are to use preventative measures, such as print preview. Buying in bulk provides discounts. Trying new cartridges immediately decreases the chances of replacement from older dry cartridges.

Posted .Hi,
I am sorry that this has happened to you. It might be that you are printing a lot of high-density printouts that use more ink.
You might find that Instant Ink is a good choice for you. With one of those plans you don't pay for cartridges, you pay by the page printed. More information can be found at: instantink.com
