    I use very little ink. In two or three months these cartridge print heads will dry up and stop printing (the print heads are part of the cartridges). At that time I'll clean the print head ends of the cartridges with my ultrasonic cleaner for 5 minutes in a warm water bath. That process usually gets the heads to print for the next few months.

    I had no problem finding refills of this size ink. There is only 1 color cartridge and the price is cheeper for this ink then other printers.

    I have not used the new cartridges yet however they are very expensive. The printer cost $99.00 and the ink cartridges cost $40.00.
