Don’t buy cartridges are full but says replace

Owned for 7 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.So I bought this item Oct 16th 2021 it’s now May 18th 2022 and I have used my printer basically for black ink many times and have had to replace black cartridge once and It says the tri color is empty. I did the put in water and then rub on a towel and there plenty of ink that comes out and it’s heavy like the new cartridges so I’m disappointed at having to replace something that literally hasn’t even been used up. Printer won’t print without it

Sorry, this experience happened to you. It sounds as if you already did several troubleshooting methods. If the cartridge is not dry, then there is another issue. It also appears that the cartridge is not empty. I think you are experiencing a cartridge recognition error. This error occurs when the printer stops recognizing the cartridge. A printer restart or reverting new software updates helps this issue. You may receive help from www.support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp/.

Especially since a lot of times the ink just evaporates if you don't print a lot. I tend to print only once a year just to file State income taxes since my State doesn't accept electronic returns without a fee. Other than that, I'm paperless. So I have to change the ink once a year just to print a lousy tax return. Sometimes better value to get a cheapo printer on sale just to get the ink cartridges.

It is a necessary evil if you have the need to print something at home. It is one of the most expensive liquids known to man and if I had a choice I would never buy it. But things as they are I occasionally have to.

But it turned out that the amount is almost same. I printed kind of picture about 10 sheets, and it started to make a faint lines on the picture. Now it is almost finished. Too small.
