I understand that you feel your ink yields are decreasing over time. I can explain how ink yields can vary from cartridge to cartridge. Printing habits impact these yields. Photos use the most ink, followed by graphics. Thicker paper, used for posters or invites, also use more ink. Decreasing the print quality setting and cleaning the printheads help get more pages.

When I went to replace the color cartridge the printer kept showing an "incompatible" message and stated that the printer could not recognize the color cartridge. When I put in another HP color cartridge it was fine. I am thinking the color cartridge was NOT HP brand but labeled as such. Too late to return, so there goes half of the purchase price down the toilet.

But it turned out that the amount is almost same. I printed kind of picture about 10 sheets, and it started to make a faint lines on the picture. Now it is almost finished. Too small.
