Customers highly value the 65 Standard Capacity Ink Cartridge for its ink quality, ease of use, and reasonable price. Many appreciate its compatibility and smooth installation process. The main drawback appears to be its limited availability.

This was obviously the incorrect product. Store associates were not around to assist me with the finding the correct ink cartage, for my HP instant printer.

      Hello,

I can understand if you are disappointed with the cartridge. You should have gotten the right one with the proper help.

      Hello,

Ink error messages are a serious impediment to printing and are a hassle. I acknowledge your experience has been unsatisfactory.

Ink errors could mean a few different occurrences. If the printer is not recognizing the cartridge, shutting down and re-inserting the cartridge may help. If the ink is dry or clogged, clean the cartridge printhead, especially the copper contacts. It wouldn't hurt to scan through the ink settings and check the ink levels of the cartridge.

If it is another problem, I urge you to talk or message our support team by visiting www.support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp.

What else can be said? There was very little ink in the cartridge. The printing usage was not unusually high. I normally get many months out of a cartridge.

      Hello there Gera,

The cartridges last longer with the save ink option, although there are other tactics to save ink. I suggest you print only in black ink, when plausible. Print preview adds value by showing you the formatting and giving you an extra chance to proofread. If you use the automatic maintenance option, it cleans the cartridges. Weekly maintenance prevents the cartridges from drying out.

      Hi there,

I am sorry that you received cartridge that did not seem to last long enough. There is an XL version of the HP 65 cartridge that many people consider to be a better value.

Unless a cartridge was damaged or defective, the ink usage will determine how long it lasts. There are some things that can help you print more:
      - You can use the printer's draft mode and black-only settings, whenever possible, to save ink.
      - Some paper is highly absorbent and will use more ink, especially if the environment is dry. Use a good quality paper designed for printers.
      - You might consider trying Instant Ink. The subscription plans let you pay for the number of pages you print, and the cartridges last longer. Check out the details at: HPinstantink.com
      - Shutting the printer down between uses can also help; however, always use the power button on the printer itself to turn it off. That lets it ‘park’ so that the cartridges are protected from excessive drying.

When it seems that the low page yield was caused by a defective cartridge, it is always an option to contact the seller about it.

      Hi,

I am very sorry that your cartridge did not seem to work well. I can imagine how disappointing that must have been.

I would encourage you to contact the seller when a cartridge is low on ink to begin with, or it appears that poor page yield was due to a defect.

      Hi Anna,

I am sorry that you received a cartridge that did not work. Normally, you would contact Best Buy about that. It seems odd that the local store didn't replace it, but you might try the toll-free number below.

According to the Best Buy site's Return & Exchange Policy information:
"If you receive a product that is damaged in shipping, defective or that is not the product you ordered, please return it during your return and exchange time period to a Best Buy store and we'll arrange for a replacement. If you would rather return the item by mail during your return and exchange time period, please call us for special instructions at 1-888-BEST BUY (1-888-237-8289). We will cover all reasonable and customary ground shipping fees."

It is true that you can contact us for replacement though. As long as it is not past the "warranty ends" date on the cartridge, you can reach us by your preferred method listed at: hp.com/contactHP

      Hi,

I'm sad to hear you didn't have a positive experience with the cartridge. How many prints did you get? Typical cartridges get 300-400 pages. I have heard of users getting 500 pages. The difference is a combination of preventative maintenance and habits. Clean the cartridges weekly and after every use. I also suggest you scan every page through print preview.

      Hello Gwen,

I know how it feels when you urgently need to print but encounter a dry cartridge. We take your feedback seriously.

Dry cartridges have several causes. Cartridges are exposed to air if the printer is on for long periods. A quick trick is to use a wet cotton swab to dab the print cartridge. It is essential to ensure the copper contacts are clear off ink, dust, or any other substance. There is also an option on most printers to complete printer maintenance. I hope these suggestions help you get more pages in the future.
