    I now always use the original HP ink. I've had bad experiences in the past using re-manufactured ink for my older printers. The ink doesn't last, it leaks.... HP ink today is much cheaper to buy than years ago. My first printer was bought in the year 2000. The black and color ink was $75. My current printer which is far more sophisticated uses ink that cost $30.
