Knowing that happens far too often I decided to buy the XL version as it holds more ink and will last longer. It was the right decision and has lasted far longer than the regular HP 65 cartridge.

I was actually a little frustrated with my printer. But after trying out this particular cartridge I am completely content.

My only complaint is the 65 black and Tri Color are always sold out, or I have a odd ball printer that nobody else has bought and the stores don't carry it.

Honestly, it’s better to buy the XL than the regular. It will last you longer and less ink cartridges waste.
