    Always get the XL because its the better buy and last longer. Works just like any other HP ink does. I don't buy off brands.

    Besides not being able to tell how much is actually left and the fact that when you shake it you can hear there is more it’s good with the printer I have. If I don’t use it in a long time it can dry up.

    I always buy the brand name cartridges because I have had bad luck in the past with the generics. The only two I have ever bought lasted about half as long as the brand," hardly worth the $3.00 savings er each.
