    I was able to only print 5 pages and the cartridge was empty. I have purchased this before and was able to print a lot more. I think this one was defective.

    The only alternative to HP's ink plan is still expensive for what little you get. And HP will only take their Ink!

    Colors are not appropriately applied to the prints. It fades when printing large pictures.

    It has taught me not to print anything unless I REALLY need it. I have to buy a new cartridge about once a month, even with very modest usage of my printer. Admittedly, I don’t know if any competitors do better. I have read that the HP printer may reject any substitute so I hesitate to try.
