I would not purchase the printer again. I have a Canon printer at a friend's home and it will print nearly a whole ream of regular letter style printed pages using one black cartridge.

I regret that you have had this experience. However, when you are comparing cartridges, you also need to examine the ink capacity of the cartridges. There is an XL version of the cartridge with much more capacity.
The seller is responsible for the product you bought from them. If the poor performance appears to be due to the individual cartridge itself, consider contacting the seller.

BB delivered the black cartridges the very next day. BB sent an email that dat informing me that the color cartridges would be delayed but I should have them in 5 days. Three weeks later I still don't have them so I go onto your web page to find them. Your web page is worthless and wouldn't let me cancel the order. This week BB sends me an email cancelling the order. If I walk into the Roseville store I am sure they are on the shelf. I'm handicapped so I didnt.

Best Buy does not have enough of the 67XL ink cartridges in stock. Each time I have gone to Best Buy to purchase the 67XL they never have any in stock.

I installed the ink but the printer did not recognize the black ink cartridge. I called a computer technician to assist with determining the problem. It ended up being a faulty black ink cartridge. I took the faulty cartridge to return to the local Best Buy and get a replacement. The clerk said it could not be returned because it had been opened and it was past the 15 day return window. She suggested that perhaps I had simply wanted to return a used and empty cartridge for momet. I would have to go directly to HP and file a claim.

Printed only 20 pages for my taxes on Jan 6, and it's dead/empty. Weather has been dangerously cold past two weeks, so I didn't get out to return it right away. Looks like my "return" time is up. It’s costly, doesn’t last long and you only get to print a minimum of 200 pages before you are back at the store trying to find it in stock.

I am very sorry that this is happening to you. It can be frustrating to not have cartridges last long.
Normally, ink usage determines how long a cartridge lasts. High-density prints (such as images and graphs) will use more ink, especially if the paper is very absorbent and the air is dry.
Here are some things that might help lower your ink costs:
- Black is used a lot in almost every printout. Make use of the printer's draft mode whenever possible, to help stretch out black and colored ink
- Always use the power button on the printer itself to turn it off. That gives it time to ‘park’ so that the cartridges are protected from excessive drying.
- Shutting the printer down between uses will save electricity and a few drops of ink here and there that are used to keep the inkjets cleared and ready for your next print job.
- Instant Ink lets you pay by the page rather than by the cartridge. Check out the details at: instantink.com
If it appears that the poor performance you got is due to a defect or you were sent a cartridge already low on ink, please contact the seller.
