    So angry about this purchase. Or should I say multiple purchases. I purchased 12 different cartiridges and all of them arrived, fully packaged, with NO INK! I was given a hard time at the store for returning them because they are a "consumable product." Even when a printer consumes "all" of the ink, there still shows a small bar on the printer because it's not ever FULLY empty. These cartridges did not even show a single bar.

      Hi there Leanne,

      Twelve defective cartridges are a ton. Possibly, all of the cartridges arrived empty. Still, the printer could have trouble detecting the ink, or the ink monitor on your printer might have broken. If possible, try to print a test page.     The ink doesn't last long at all. I've replaced at 4 times now....that's unheard of.

      Hi there Regina,

      Four cartridges in a row is a lot to have the same outcome. Let's figure out this situation! Do check inside the printer. Are there any leaks? When you are printing, do you check the ink level between prints? Checking the levels shows you the items using the most ink. It is cold this time of the year. Are you running the heat a lot? Running the heat dries out the cartridge.

    Unbelievable..Selling a product,that they don't recommend..Took a ink cartride back that was no good,and they knew that it was of poor quality and couldn't do anything about it!..said that product wasn't good...but they have to stock it..what to heck??..Said I needed to complain to the company that makes them...I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS STORE EVER...AND YOU CANNOT CALL THEM..NO PHONE NUMBER FOR A DIRECT CALL!!!

    Did not last me 30 days and my printer was down for a week. I do not print that much.

      Hi,

      I see you are unsatisfied with the results. It appears your use of the printer is limited.

      Did you check the ink levels in the printer?
      Did any type of error message pop up?

    I purchased this ink, but it wasn’t the right one for my printer. Had to return for the correct one

    I printed less than 10 pages, Next time will send out for ink, but Best Buy did have it in stock, many other stores DID NOT

    I will no longer shop at Best Buy. I try calling the store only to find out that they no longer answer calls. I was put through all call center only to have the person not give me any help and hang up on me. So I drive 25 to 30 miles to see if they have the ink for my printer. They did, but could have care less about how we were taken care off. VARY POOR WAY TO RUN A COMPANY.

    Not sure why this was shipped to NJ but it took 2 weeks to get to me . Very slow shipping. Wish they would stop using the USPS

    I love HP ink however if you do not have the XL or instaInk forget it your ink will be gone in a day

      Hello Ray,

      I understand you were expecting more pages as a result. I'm sorry we didn’t match your expectations. Here are some solutions:

      - Select the black ink only or grayscale option on your printer, unless color is necessary.
      - Change your paper. Some are more wasteful than other types.
      - Clean the printheads.
      - Save printing for items that need to be physically handed out or read.

      • It is recommended that you strategize each print. This limits the possibility of reprinting the same documents.
      • Some materials use more ink, like specialty paper. The type of print matters, as images use more ink than regular text.
      • Sometimes, turning your printer off helps save ink from exposure to the outside air.

      I regret that you have had this experience. I can understand if you were disappointed when the cartridges seem to run out too quickly.

      Your usage usually determines how long each individual cartridge lasts. High-density prints (like images and graphs) will use up the ink more quickly.

      I regret that the cartridge seemed to run out too quickly. That had to be disappointing.

      You might have better luck getting an XL cartridge. Most people consider it a better value.

    Just had to order another one and haven't had the other 1 butt since January and barely use color ink only black-and-white I don't know what's going on but the quality of these items is going down

      Hi,

      I understand constantly ordering ink is a hassle. We strive to make the ordering process seamless. If you would like, you can try the XL cartridges. Some consumers find great value in them. Buying in bulk is another solution. Avoiding color is an excellent step for ink conservation. It is not the only step. I recommend using the print preview or draft mode to avoid extra copies.

    This item came without ink and Best Buy would not exchange. My Son waited to long to install. I will not be purchasing anymore. I have purchased this product numerous times and never had this issue before.

    It seems my new color cartridge was without ink. UNLESS I tossed the full one and installed the old empty one BUT I don't think so. I am waiting to get more ink that I ordered so I can print again.
