HP ink is so expensive and the HP printer doesn't like no HP cartridges so you have to go with HP..

this ink cost way too much for the size of it & the amount of pages yielded compared to my 951XL I had before.

the ink dry fast doesn't last long, not so good ,not satisfied and can't exchange when opened

The ink runs out too fast. As a result, I've signed up for instant ink to avoid having to run out each time.

Works good, wish it last longer. I feel like I replace this too often for as much as it cost.

The price is excessive. You can buy a new HP Office jet unit for a little more than the ink.

Best Buy no longer sells Ink Cartridges in single colors, only Tri-Pack. How often do ALL three colors run out at the same time? I will shop for Ink at Staples.

I needed the Cyan, Yellow, and Magenta for my printer but purchased the large Black Ink cartridge as well. I recently needed the black ink and opened the cartridge I purchased about 6 weeks ago. I had a used cartridge in the box with no ink. I went to the store to buy the black cartridge and mentioned the incident to the sales person. We walked to the HP cartridges and there was another cartridge box open. I went to the car to get my opened cartridge box and the contents.The manager would not consider replacing the cartridge because of the time elapsed from sale to when I used the cartridge. I was very disappointed. All of our electronics, TV's, computers, as well as an occasional washer or dryer have been purchased at BestBuy and we have always had great experiences with our service after the sale. I will always check the boxes from now on.

The cartridges are ok. I would have preferred one cartridge with all the colors instead of individual cartridges.

The ink is best. The only problem is they are expensive.

Pretty good. It would be nice if they had the XL cartridges. Color runs out so fast.

Needed replacement cartridge for my kids school projects but the cartridge are small and costly.

I was surprised that the color has run out within a month and half and I'm not printing many documents in color.

Can there be any more types of ink to choose from. I don't print enough to order ink every month so I have to pull out the printer, open it up to see the type. Thought I read it right but you don't know until you open it up that you just dissolved your chance to return the item as well as spending another $60.00 to get the right one. Do people change printers every other month? Is there a profile where I can just order my pre--selected ink?

I've been a long time user of HP printers (at least 10 years). I have purchased at least 12 in that time. Now that the cartridge dictates to you when it needs to be replaced (even though it is still a usable cartridge), I will look for other brands. The quality of the HP printers have dropped so dramatically that they are just not worth the money. The last three HP printers I've had go into "maintenance mode" every time I try to print. They also start fading the print (going from dark ink to a faint, unreadable shade). After spending hours wasting ink on "align printheads" and "print test page" you end up spending even more time trying to get help online or by phone from HP. They have you run all the same troubleshooting tests! IF you get one good test print then HP support is ready to hang up. A few days later you get a message from your printer that says your warranty has expired! As for me, I am already looking for a better brand of printer!!!!
