    I give it a 3 because I am not sure if it the ink or my HP printer (probably the printer) , I go through ink faster than I did on my old cannon. Also the pricing is high..

    Don't like that the ink doesn't last long. Especially since I don't use it as frequent as I need. Like that the black has extended cartridge but not available in color.

    I would use this for very little printing but if you print more often then I would get the XL get twice the Ink

      Hello Corey,

      I'm sorry that you are not getting longer usage of your cartridges.You are correct in thinking that XL ones are probably a better value.

      That said, I have a few tips that might help extend the life of even the regular cartridges:
      - You can use the printer's draft mode and black-only settings, whenever possible, to save ink.
      - Shutting the printer down between uses can help; however, always use the power button on the printer itself to turn it off. That lets the printer ‘park’ so that the cartridges are protected from excessive drying.
      - If you suspect that the low page yield was caused by a defective cartridge, you are always free to contact the seller.

    Cartridges are too small and need to be replaced sooner than the black. Do not recommend the HP pre paid ink program. Your printing is monitored. Very very costly.

    This ink does the job too expensive but it is cheaper then other printer model ink wish it would last longer for the price I don't do a lot of printing either .

    I had just bought ink cartridges for my HP 6830 Officejet All In One Printer and the darn thing went out! I had to get a new printer and the cotton pickin ink cartridges that I just bought won't fit! There isn't much of a difference between the 2 printers. I don't know why they can't just make the ink cartridges fit. It's basically the same model only 3 years newer. That's why I only gave it 4 stars. Other than that, the ink works great.

    Best Buy no longer sells Ink Cartridges in single colors, only Tri-Pack. How often do ALL three colors run out at the same time? I will shop for Ink at Staples.
