    Like most inks on the market, this ink is expensive. Bought it for about $20, then printed about 25 pages and now ink level is almost half according to my printer. although it prints nicely compared to the canon ink and printer I previously owned.

    We buy printer ink for one reason -- to print documents. HP 902 ink cartridge does the trick. Most of the time we don't want or need fancy. We need functional. This ink fits the bill and does the trick.

    I thought that HP ink cartridges were more expensive than Epson cartridges and it was pointed out to me the reason that Epson are less expensive is because they contain less ink. Since ink goes so fast, it is worth a little extra money to have it last longer.

    This is my first replacement of a cartridge in my new printer. I cannot really review this product objectively until I have used it for a month or more. If it is like other HP printer cartridges, it will not last long. I do not like the new packaging of the cartridges.

    Great price, but if plan to do some serious printing might as well get the XL. Also, be very careful opening. Sometimes, I don’t know how it happen, but I get ink all over my hands.
