    The Ink does last a good fair amount of time . Pretty good color sharpness and good quality printing color . I been using the Hp 902 xL black color ink cartridge for a few years and it works well . I would recommend it the only down fall is that is pretty price ;( other than that is a good quality Ink cartridge

    I bought this Hp 902xl because it works on my HP office jet pro 6978 printer. I always buy the name brand HP ink 902XL because it is recommended for my printer by HP and is quality ink, I also buy the XL size so I don’t have buy it as often.

    I always buy the XL version because I do a lot of printing in black and white. The regular color inkjets are not used as much, as the black. With the black HP - 902XL High-Yield Ink Cartridge, I notice they last as long as my regular color inkjets, so that I can usually replace them all at the same time.

    These HP XL black cartridges work great and really do last quite a while. I recommend paying up for the XL cartridge if you can.
