Ink and printer are garbage

Not sure if it’s the printer or the ink, I will however be getting rid of both as the HP printer has been nothing but trouble and is less than a year old.

Crap product

Bought this as the replacement ink to keep on hand when the rest went bad, so it’s been over 3 months since I purchased it, and I just know I won’t get a refund or replacement.

It's quite the racket!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

If you are only printing in black and white, there is little need to replace the color cartridges. Replacements are needed occasionally. Print preview is a great suggestion if you would like to save additional ink. Decreasing the print quality setting can save ink. XL cartridges also provide greater value. 910 multi color ink cartridges

I couldn't find the color cartridges any where. I can find black.I called hp & was told that the 910 color ink cartridges were recalled & they don'tknow when they'll have any. I am concerned about your review finding the product lacking value. It is very unusual to change cartridges that frequently unless you print many pages.
HP wants to be transparent with its customers and has honest business practices. I am not sure who offered the six-month free promotion. This review is the first time I have heard of it. If there are stipulations, our vendors should have specified them.
To stretch the cartridges to their full potential, follow these ideas. Be sure to check the ink levels when you start printing. You can decrease the print quality, run automatic maintenance, or change the print items.

Bad cartridges

Turns out that the cartridges were bad (printer notified me) couldn't return them. Waste of money.

Use it immediately

I'm disappointed to hear you did not enjoy the cartridges. Running out of ink is not ideal. There are a few strategies to prevent dry cartridges in the future. Start by printing in black ink only. This saves money on color cartridges. I also suggest you adjust the print quality settings to use less ink. Consider purchasing the XL version of the cartridge in the future.

It must be disappointing to have to return multiple color cartridges. I have a few ideas. First, take a cartridge you know works well. Try to test print a page. It could be an issue with the printer on the color side. Second, try cleaning the print rollers and printhead. Look for any leaks.

Rip-off

HP appreciates your feedback. It's a disappointment that the results you got weren't satisfactory. Other brands don't work well with HP printers, so it is recommended you use HP cartridges.
Still, there are several ways to get more ink. Start by scanning each page with a print preview. Shut down the machine and unplug it when done using it. Lastly, print only in black ink unless a color is required.
