Ink cartridges are costly

I agree with many other people’s comments. Printers are sold as a loss item or close. The profit is made through the ink cartridges. Ink cartridges are too expensive. You have us over a barrel. What value is a printer without ink? Without ink cartridges a printer is just a dust catcher taking up space.

I really appreciate the "XL" size for more economy. They provide much more printing for little additional costs. As with most products, If you have an Hewlett Packard printer, it is best to use the same brand ink cartridge. HP products are very competitive when compared to other products.
