||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I always buy and use this cartridge because there is no other way even when it is so expensive - one fourth the price of the all-in-one printer that requires this. I feel I am enslaved. HP tracks these things very jealously. Soon after installing the cartridge for some reason I had to take it out for a few minutes. As soon as I put it back a message came that a "used" cartridge has been installed. However, because it was "genuine" HP cartridge it did not object to using it. Soon there was a problem though - the black was not printing!! I contacted HP tech help. They took control of my computer and told that my computer was full of malware and wanted me to sign a one-($199) or two-($299) year contract to maintain my computer to make the black print. This was not acceptable to me. I scanned the computer for malware - nothing was found. I did not understand what they did with my computer but the whole printing process started malfunctioning. I was very frustrated but desperately needed some print job. Not being an expert ultimately I tried a couple of commonsense things and now can manage to print. Next printer is not going to be HP.
