Black is much bolder with this cartridge than with the combo colors used with factory supplied cartridges.

I wish they would make the multi packs to include the black ink.

I was buying the regular size and it seemed like we were always replacing black ink every other month. With a household of 6 and someone is always printing something for school, ink was going fast. We now buy the XL ink cartridge size and we get about 3.5 - 4 months now.

I have been using this ink since I first used printers. The ink is smooth looking and looks good in any size or any form of printing someone does. I use specialty papers a lot and it really makes them sharp looking. I hope they NEVER quit selling this ink

This HP black cartridge is a an integral part of the printer; therefore, necessary.

It is name brand for my hp printer; I find name brand better than getting generic refilled cartridges. I did that once at both Office Depot and Costco and was not satisfied.

Hmmm, What can I say about ink? Well, first of all you need it to print words on paper and this does that perfectly. Secondly, while it is a much needed item, the price of ink is waaayyy too much. Wish it could be at least half the price I paid, but like I said above it is needed to print words on paper.
