Called Best Buy and they said come down and get another blue cartridge and so we did. It worked and I was happy they were so good to work with us. Then I left for a trip that evening and when I returned home to print something the magenta color and yellow said they were low on ink. I hadn't done any printing and now the other two colors were low and the blue worked fine. Never had this problem and now I am out &47.00. Bummed.

Best Buy wanted me to bring the whole printer in to reimburse me for the Inc, that's not necessary, so I am not happy with this procedure. I just need the new Ink. The other Black, & Blue Ink that was put in at the same time was fine. The Printer is fine, it was the Yellow & Red Ink insert that was bad. Janice Buck

I'm sorry that your ink seems to have been used up too quickly. I can understand why you think there is not enough there.
Here are a few facts about ink usage that might help:
- A high-density print (like a photo) will use the ink more quickly than a low-density print (a text-only document), especially if the paper is highly absorbent and the environment is dry.
- Using the draft and black only settings on your printer can help save ink, especially the colored ink.
- Shutting the printer down between uses can help. However, always use the power button on the printer itself to turn it off. That will let the printer 'park' itself so that the cartridges are protected from excess drying.
- If you suspect that the low page yield was caused by a defective cartridge, you are always free to contact the seller.

If I was a wasteful person, that would have proven cost effective. Furthermore, even after I installed the new cartridge, the ink quality was poor and I get a "low ink" message every time I use my printer.
