Amazing how well this printer works and how little ink it consumes. I always bought Epson printers but they are noisy and not as reliable as the HP machines that have come out in last few years.

We needed black ink and we were at Best Buy so we checked out the price. We were surprised when it was less expensive than where we normally purchased it. Naturally we purchased it at Best Buy.

Bought extra before the joined the HP ink club. Came in really handy when order was delayed due to weather. I only use HP proper products for my HP equipment.

I think this is generally a good product. Had issue with my printer that caused printer to give error message that these may be used cartridges. Ended up returning product.

Not sure why ink is so expensive. I think for the price it is NOT a great value even though it is XL. Remember to adjust you paper types and be sure to use all black when you do not need color pages,. It will help save on ink and make it a better value.

I bought ink at Best Buy because I had a 10.00 gift certificate. Price on shelf was lower that what rang up at the register, if I had not caught it, I would have paid a higher price.

Well, it's doing what is supposed to do. All inkjet cartridges are the same - lower quality, cheaper versions of laser counterparts. So if you need to buy a printer, choose the laserjets
