I needed a black ink cartridge to go with my new printer and picked this one up. It wasn't on sale, not sure if they do, and am still waiting to install it. The demo cartridge that the printer came with is still working. I don't print much, so we'll see how long this big one lasts. Hopefully a while due to the price.

I would recommend this brand of ink. I have tried other brands that were less expensive. It's not worth paying a cheaper price. I found you get less copies with the cheaper brand.

I noticed that I am getting more ink than before. The clarity of the ink is excellent and does not smudge or fade when I use an expensive letterhead paper product to print on.

HP cartridges always work best with my HP printer. I already messed up my last printer using generic cartridges; ink dried up in the plastic tube which runs from the cartridge to the paper. I had to buy a new printer. Now I just use HP products that in the long run will save me money. Best Buy priced matched also which was great. I had gone to Fry's electronics and they refused to price match. Best Buy has great costumer service!

The HP black is a high quality ink and lasts quite a while. It is very easy to install.

My neighbor uses my printer for her book manuscript and I purchased this cartridge for her use only. We switch out my black cartridge and insert hers on her visits when she will often print 100 pages or more at a time. She was amazed when I told her the Best Buy price because she had purchased the previous one at an office supply place for $8.00 more! I have found a new ink customer for Best Buy!

Easy to use ink cartridge. Like the packaging, Deep rich Black color. Dislike the cost. To high for the amount of usage out of the cartridge. Overall a good product.

It works perfect with the printer that I have and prints clear pictures as well as documents. I've always used HP products and they have very decent quality.
