i cannot do without a printer as it a huge money saver in my house. we print coupons worth more than the cost of our HP printer and catridges

It is an ink cartridge expensive for the longevity of the ink. I did find that if you are receiving an error that the printer does not recognize the cartridge it is most likely that the printhead needs replaced.

like the hp printer, but the cartridges aren't cheap. You do have to have the color cartridges and black ink all working or it won't print at all.

Hp sends you free stuff when you use there ink I used to refill at costco but had a print problem when it dryed and killed my machine

While it isn't the cheapest ink cartridge out there, the new HP printers are very fussy if you don't use HP cartridges. Therefore, there aren't many alternatives. I am a loyal Best Buy customer and prefer to buy my HP cartridges here.

Great to have separate ink color cartridges, so you never have to waste part of a cartridge because the other color is gone.
