Ink lasts a pretty long time and I state this because I have 1 high school kid, 2 college kids, and 1 elementary kid that use the printer.

I always get HP Ink. Deep color and XL cartridges. They always work and my printer always says you just put a genius HP in.

This is a great deal for my HP office jet pro8600. We purchased it on sale and got a great deal. The ink lasts a long time.

It's hp, so it's quality. Cost too much though. We have used hp printers for over ten years and value the product. hp no longer has the rewars program, and that kind of stinks.

The 950XL in draft form prints a large number of pages. The 950 color does not last very long. You have to be careful not to use the color.
