    Love the ability to replace individual ink tanks. The old tri-color ink cartridges were a waste of money as you had to replace the entire cartridge if one color ran out. I have come to learn that using OEM ink vice universal ink results in much better quality printing. Highly recommend HP products.

    Unless you blocked automatic updates to your printer, the September update from HP destroyed any possibility of using 3rd party cartridges. I tried ... I went to the web, tried to work around, spent lots of time without any success. You need these bona fide HP cartridges. --- I'm as mad as you are.

    HP will not warranty your printer unless you use their ink. Yes it's a bit more $ but worth it in the long run
