    I tried using third party ink I ordered off Amazon and it messed up my printer ( other ink was printing washed out colors and varied throughout the page). Had to go back to using Hp ink which overtime fixed the problem. Best Buy will match Amazon ink prices it sold and shipped by amazon. The reason I give it 4 stars is due to the cost of the ink.

    These are the standard replacement ink cartridges. They work well. They do not last as long as their high performance model counterparts but they are less expensive and provide adequate to good color performance. One negative is that you can not buy just the color you're low on. They are sold as a packaged group except for black, which can be purchased separately. I guess that's what you trade for a lower cost value option.
