    I was disappointed when I was unable to print just black text because I was out of blue. Seems HP forces you to replace the not needed right now inks just to be able to use the printer. I purchased the XL for our first time, hope it last longer than the stock cartridge. With my rewards card I was able to save an additional 10%, so thats cool.

    Spend the extra money and snag the XL size. Never an easy pill to swallow on the price of ink but better value in the larger size.

    Item is genuine HP product. A bit pricey though. If the price is lower, and if they offer some postage paid envelopes to return empty cartridges for some discount in the future, that would be great. Hate to produce so much waste. Reuse/recycle.

    I prefer to buy the XL they last much longer than the regular size. Besides when i buy the multi pack it seems like i have 1 color just sitting around forever.

    The Cyan 951 XL doesn't smear and the print quality in fonts and pictures/illustrations is very sharp. An XL cartridge costs a little more but the results are worth every penny.
